Intelligence is cheap now. Understanding a business is not. Every business runs on knowledge nobody wrote down. Software used to be something a business bought. Now it's something a business can be.
Zeestr Studio builds custom web apps, automations and AI systems from inside the work. Any trade, one business at a time. We learn how the job is actually done, then turn it into tools people use every day. Strategy, design and engineering under one roof.
Most of what gets called AI is a demo. The interesting problems were never in the model. They are in how a business actually runs: who calls whom, what gets typed twice, which decisions wait for one person.
We go there first. Then we decide what deserves intelligence, what deserves an automation, what deserves a well-built app, and what deserves to be left alone.
from early Internet to agentic systems
in 2026 alone
running with real users
we run ourselves
Four verbs. No slide deck.
UnderstandWeeks, not quarters
We start inside the work: the chair, the site, the call, the spreadsheet. We learn the trade before we touch the tools, map what actually happens rather than what the org chart says, and write the baseline down before anything gets built.
DesignWith the people who do the job
We think with the people who do the job, then design the thing they would have built if they had the time. Interfaces first, models second, spreadsheets last. Nothing ships that someone has to be trained to tolerate.
BuildIn loops, with real users
We build with the newest methods we trust and none we don't: agentic workflows, foundation models, and plenty of plain, well-made web apps. Small teams, a handful of real users, shipped in loops on top of the tools already in place, on an architecture that can grow from one location to a hundred without being rebuilt.
RunAnd stay
We stay. We measure, tune and keep it useful once the novelty wears off. Every month closes with a number, and when the number doesn't move, the plan changes, not the story.
Any industry. The pattern is the same every time: expert judgment trapped in manual work.
This year alone we have built inside specialty medicine, forensic engineering, manufacturing and behavioral health, after years in real estate, consumer brands, nonprofits and law. The vocabulary changes. The work does not.
Teams we have built for, over the years.
"We became partners in 2020, one of the most challenging years we've faced as an organization. With their creative, purposeful, results-driven team, we quadrupled our goal."
Client since 2020
Things we say in every kickoff.
Nothing gets replaced on day one.
The systems a business already pays for are rarely the problem. The gaps between them are. We wire the gaps first and let replacement earn its place, if it ever does.
Agents supervise. Humans decide.
Automation is the backbone, agents are the supervisory layer, and every conclusion, signature and sensitive conversation stays with a person. The line is drawn in the architecture, not in a policy nobody reads.
It's a loop, not a line.
Data, model, value makes a fine slide. In production, monitoring and adoption feed back into data, prompts and evals every week. We build the loop, and we report on it monthly.
Trade first. Tools second.
Every business has a craft underneath the admin. We learn the craft, then automate the admin around it, so the app fits the way the work is done and not the other way around.
Built for one. Meant for many.
Every build starts as a flagship: one practice, one firm, one field team. We build it as if a hundred more were waiting, because with our own SaaS they were. Multi-tenant from the start, when the idea deserves it.
With, or without.
Some of the best tools we shipped this year have no model in them at all. Intelligence is a material, not a religion. We use it where it pays back and skip it where it doesn't.
Works with a keyboard, a screen reader, a zoomed-in phone and a tired pair of eyes.
Every app we ship is built to WCAG 2.2 AA from the first screen, not audited at the end. It is a design constraint we like, because it makes the tools better for everyone. Try the panel at the bottom of this page.
- WCAG 2.2 AAChecked on every screen before it ships, then re-checked on every release.
- Keyboard firstEvery action reachable with Tab, Enter and Escape. Focus you can actually see.
- Screen readersReal labels, real headings, real names on buttons. No mystery icons.
- Contrast 4.5:1 or betterText stays readable in daylight, on a cheap screen, in a hurry.
- Motion that asks firstAnimations respect reduce-motion settings and can be paused in one tap.
- Adjustable typeSize, spacing, font and contrast people can change themselves, and keep.
We also run Zeestr.
The SaaS fundraising and donation platform we built and operate for US nonprofits. Multi-tenant, customer-funded, profitable, live since 2023, with more than eight million dollars in donations moved through it.
Campaigns, recurring giving, events, donor and marketing intelligence, and Zee, the fundraising sidekick that answers questions about the numbers in plain language. Running our own SaaS every day, with real donors and real deadlines, is the reason we build other people's tools the way we do. It is also how we know the road from one customer's idea to a product many businesses subscribe to, because we have driven it for ourselves and for clients.
Bring one workflow. We'll bring an opinion.
Thirty minutes is enough to say what we would build first, what we would leave alone, and what it should be worth. One of us replies within a business day.
